Born and raised in the heart of Michigan, the Thumb, Nick Laurain's journey has seen him transition from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers to a new chapter filled with purpose and passion. Life's timing, his wife's goals, flexibility, and a touch of divine intervention have led him to a space where morning power-ups, leadership teachings, and genuine camaraderie create a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere.

For Nick, the real beauty of his work lies in meeting people and witnessing the real, heartfelt connections formed within his team and with those they assist in achieving their dream of a home. In the midst of it all, his guiding light is Jesus, infusing his life with purpose and meaning.

Rachel, Nick's wife since August 27th of a recent year, has been a significant force in his life since 2012. Together, they are raising two wonderful children—Elijah, a 9-year-old boy, and Anaiah, a 3-year-old girl. Their family is complete with two Alaskan Malamutes, Mohawk and Keena, and the laid-back Sammy Cat.

Residing in the quaint town of Carsonville on 10 acres, Nick's recent spiritual rebirth in May 2019 brought about a significant shift from his past 8 years in the I.B.E.W., where he engaged in general labor, operated equipment, and climbed poles. Excited for the change, Nick describes himself as a simple yet serious man, finding joy in the authenticity of real connections.

Despite the challenges, Nick's favorite subject is God, and his family holds a special place in his heart. His humility, strong work ethic, and ability to stay unruffled in the face of adversity define him.

In his pursuit of a meaningful life, Nick aspires to stay humble, offer hope to those in need, and achieve financial stability to dedicate time for genuine works that make a real difference. Alongside these ambitions, he values teaching truth and continually delves into Hebrew for ancient literature purposes.
